Merseyside Police has an enviable reputation as being the best performing metropolitan Force in the UK, and is recognised as a dynamic and forward-thinking Force. Although Merseyside is one of the smallest geographical forces, it serves a diverse population in a challenging policing area, responding to almost 1 million calls for service per year.
The Chief Constable of Merseyside is seeking to appoint a new Assistant Chief Constable to join the Force during Autumn 2018.
This strategic leadership role will join the existing executive team, playing a key role in the corporate management and direction of the force. This is a critical time for the organisation, 18 months on from the implementation of a Forcewide restructure which has fundamentally changed how we deliver a policing service to the public of Merseyside.
