Description of Department:
The Field Intelligence and Technical Surveillance Unit (FITSU) provide expert advice and deliver covert technical solutions in relation to serious and volume crime. This will include research, design, adaptation, production, deployment, and recovery of technical equipment.
FITSU continue to maintain their capability in field intelligence when technical solutions are not viable, conducting physical observations in urban and rural environments to gather intelligence and evidence.
Purpose of the role:
