Police Transferee Investigator/ Detectives & officers to support RASSO (Operation Bluestone)

As an organisation we are revolutionising the way rape and serious sexual offences (RaSSO) are investigated and are now looking for a number of enthused, tenacious and passionate individuals to join our existing colleagues to be part of a UK leading RaSSO team under the name Operation Bluestone.
We have a range of Constable and Sergeant Opportunities across Operation Bluestone for both Investigators and Accredited Detectives.
This is a dedicated group of investigators, focussing on RaSSO offences within omni-competent investigations teams with the intention of looking after vulnerable victims, focussing on perpetrators of such crimes and maximising justice outcomes.
These roles are not for everyone. You will be fully supported, but will be dealing with sensitive and challenging situations and as such you need to be someone who can show professionalism, resilience and compassion at all times. You will need to be driven and determined to make a difference and we are looking for people who are curious and are not afraid to ask those key questions and be patient to gather all the evidence.

Using the specialist and dedicated skills we will provide you with, you will pursue offenders and present clear and comprehensive cases to bring them to justice.
We want victims to have the confidence that they can come and talk with us and that we provide fully victim-centred care both immediately and also in the weeks and months that follow.
Our organisation area is vast. We are definitely not a sleepy backwater as we cover over 1,855 Square miles and serve nearly 1.7 million residents. We service an international airport, miles of picturesque coastline, a huge network of roads, a vast number of towns and rural villages as well as several large world renowned cities including Bristol and Bath.
These all produce a challenging, lively and diverse policing environment. In addition the night time economy in many of these areas makes us a truly 24/7 service. Across all of this expanse our focus always is to provide outstanding policing for everyone.
