Superintendent and Chief Superintendent
Superintendent (Operational or Crime)
Chief Superintendent (Operational or Crime)
Derbyshire Constabulary is committed to delivering a high quality policing service – whether for our one million residents or the 10 million people who visit the Peak District each year.
This is an exciting time to join us. Under the leadership of our recently-formed Chief Officer team, we are focussed on a programme of cultural change and service improvement with a particular focus on delivering a high quality of service to the public, bringing offenders to justice and protecting the vulnerable.
We are seeking a Chief Superintendent and a Superintendent on either level-transfer or promotion and would welcome applications from proactive leaders with a track record of delivering results. We are looking for individuals who are committed to serving the public who will help us raise standards and deliver Force priorities locally whilst listening to their teams and taking them with them through the change.
The Chief Superintendent will lead one of our operational Divisions or our Crime Support Department and we welcome applications from candidates with either operational or crime backgrounds who can take a leading role in supporting our change initiatives.
The Superintendent will be considered for any of our divisional or departmental roles dependent on the skills and experience they bring with them.
If you believe you would be a good fit for either of these roles, we would love to hear from you.
Please visit our recruitment website at https://careers.derbyshire.police.uk for more information and to apply to join our team. Our central location and excellent transport links make us accessible from most areas of the country and a generous relocation package is available for our successful candidates.
