Applications are invited from experienced administrators for the position of CICA Medical Clerk. You will provide clerical support to the Criminal Justice Unit (CJU) by undertaking administrative tasks associated with processing Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority claims and Medical Statements for the Force. Candidates who have experience of working within a busy office environment, meeting deadlines and working on own initiative will be particularly suited to this post. We are seeking applications from those who can demonstrate they are organised and methodical in their approach to work as you will be involved in processing requests in line with local and legislative timescales. Experience of using various IT systems is essential as you will use Force systems, spreadsheets and databases on a daily basis. If you have a keen eye for detail and thrive on providing excellent customer service, you will excel in this post. You will work within a small team where communication and team working is paramount. In addition to this, the post holder will also liaise with partner agencies so we are looking for candidates who can form good working relationships with those both internal and external to the organisation.
