Have you thought about a career in Guernsey? The Economic and Financial Crime Bureau, an independent law enforcement authority, are looking qualified, competent and experienced Complex Case Specialists with expertise in money laundering investigations and Asset Recovery.

Specifically we are seeking individuals with specialist knowledge in the use of asset recovery tools for conviction and non-conviction recoveries.

Key Requirements

A comprehensive understanding of:

• Money laundering techniques that use complex onshore/offshore structures
• Financial vehicles designed to mask the beneficiaries of tainted assets
• Relevant proceeds of crime legislation (civil and criminal)
• Relevant case laws

Required Skills & Experience

• Financial crime background within a law enforcement environment.
• Appropriate qualification(s) and/or accreditation in financial investigation
• Relevant professional or industry recognised qualifications.
• Significant operational and investigatory experience in conducting complex economic and financial crime investigations.
• Extensive experience of setting case strategies, operational plans and driving focused criminal and/or civil recovery investigations.
• Evidence of working autonomously to lead and drive complex criminal and/or civil recovery investigations.
