RSMS have a number of interesting investigation opportunities to support across the Channel Islands.

We are seeking highly experienced and skilled investigators who have recently worked within a major crime environment with strong understanding and application of criminal legislation inclusive of PACE, CPIA and processes within MIRSAP, HOLMES etc. Experienced investigators will have worked within familiar environments across major crime having worked on serious and major crime investigations as an investigator. Strong investigative skills and a can do attitude is required who has PIP2 credentials and has a keen eye for detail who possesses a thorough and methodical approach to investigative actions and the overall enquiry/investigation.

Summary

• Working away from home, residing in a hotel
• Happy to work on the island for the duration and self-fund flights home on the weekends
• Monday to Friday , 0800 – 1700
• 2 month initial deployment
• Flights from south of England
• Deploy w/c 23^rd Jan 2023
• Must pass NPPV2 clearance which will be processed urgently for successful applications

Experience and Skills

• Police experience is essential
• Major crime
• PIP2
• PACE, CPIA – strong disclosure and exhibits understanding
• Undertake outside enquiries
• Witness statements
• Evidence and intelligence review
• CCTV review
• Other actions as directed by the SIO

Security Clearance

Suitable and selected applicants will be required to pass police clearance to Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV 2 or higher). This clearance takes approximately two weeks to process but due to the urgency, this could be achieved in less than 48 hours. Only applicants whom have been offered the position and pass clearance will be deployed. 

Project Start Date

From the 23rd January 2021 

Project Pay

£20.00 - £22.00 per hour PAYE
