Post: Intelligence Analyst Salary: Scale 6 / SO 2 – £28,530 - £36,177 (Career Graded) Hours: 37 hours per week Contract Type: 12 month fixed term contract Location: Cleveland Police Central HQ, Hemlington, Middlesbrough Opportunities are currently available for the post of Intelligence Analyst. The successful applicants will be responsible for undertaking analysis at tactical, strategic and operational levels which will influence and support key decision making of others. This will be achieved by analysing a wide range of information on criminal activity, incidents and intelligence to identify patterns, trends and links, and involve working as part of a team within Force Intelligence. Successful candidates will have a good standard of education, ideally with a higher education qualification. Excellent communication skills are imperative as is the ability to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information. You will be able to evaluate and interpret information to inform decision making. You will demonstrate innovation, problem solving skills and initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
